Vernon

Today is the end of the Rockies, we left the hotel at 8am to travel through 3 national parks on our way to Vernon. Our first stop allowed us to gain a bit of breakfast and a walk to 1 of 2 waterfalls. It was a good 20 minute walk so I would needed twice that to make the second waterfall. There was a cave that allowed us to get very close, the sprays removed any thoughts of a hangover.

Lunch time was at a truck stop with a few dinners and takeaway joints. Subway was my option of choice, attempting a chicken and bacon ranch burger. Some guys waited the whole hour to just get served, which is pretty disappointing service by the diner.

We called in at a little place that hand makes traditional ice cream. Everyone had a taste, I was keen to try there most famous option, chocolate in a thick shake. Way to easy to have 4 large scoops of ice cream in this format.

The meal that night was at a place called Temptasian, wow, the meal was fantastic. A banquet of main meals, the lemon chicken, the prawns, everything tasted fantastic. The place was very classy, not looking anything like a traditional Asian joint, Well done Contiki on this meal.
