Maligne Lake Cruise

Getting to the bus just before 10am would normally be easy, but everyone looked a mess after last night. Beaver Lickers, half maple whisky and half butterscotch were very popular. A 2 hour drive before a nice 90 minute cruise. The view on the boat was superb, I was enjoying it while reading a book, very relaxing. The lake was filled by glaciers keeping it at a lovely 4 degrees and destination was Spirit Island where we stopped for around 10 minutes before heading back.

A few photo stops on the way back to Jasper, the Maligne Canyon which is the deepest and longest limestone canyon in the Rockies and some crystal clear lakes. I spent a few hours when I got back at the post office, hopefully nothing breaks on its way home.

That night night was meant to be a quiet one, but that very rarely happens. Pizza before heading out to a few different bars. I tried a couple of local drops, lucky lager wasn't to bad.
