Today I had to move from my lovely little hotel out in Ilford to the rather large Royal National Hotel which is located in Russell Square consisting of 1630 rooms. I made it there by around 12:30, got access to the room at 2:00pm but it hadn't been cleaned yet so at last I settled into the room at 3pm.
I looked at the attractions in London and wasn't to impressed so I thought I would go to Leicester Square for a look. This place was something different, it was cinema after cinema, all showing different movies. One would show Robin Hood and then you would go to the next where Iron Man would be playing. It took me a while to find the right location for Robin Hood and looking at the price I almost ran away, but I thought it would be an experience and wasn't disappointed.
The Empire theatre was the location for the movie which is famous for a few movie openings. After a few pints the movie is about to start so I enter to my amazement, it was like a huge Theatre where you would normally see musicals or plays. It was huge with 2 levels and it was half full this was an advanced screening.
The movie was great, very original and I enjoyed it. Back to Russell Square for a few pints and another early night, around 11pm. I am really catching up on some serious sleep before Contiki takes it all back out of me.
